"Fanm Saj" in the Haitian Creole Language means “Midwife” - in the literal term Fanm-means woman and Saj means gentleness. We know that Midwives catch babies and Fanm Saj, Inc as an organization exists to catch communities.
We envision a world where families of all ages and abilities have the power and support to live in safe and spiritually, mentally physically healthy communities.

OUR ROOTS
Here at Fanm Saj, Inc, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. The mission of the organization is to provide families with wellness, cultural tools and resources to build and nurture themselves and their communities. We do this through Shifting narrative-Story telling and collecting, Restorative Justice Circle Keeping and Capacity Building.

Fanm Saj, Inc part of a growing movement and we are invested in changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Non-Profit Organization is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. We make sure our partners are empowered by creating opportunities for individuals and communities.
